This is another London Clay fish species which is only described from one complete skull in the collection of the Natural History Museum, London. 

Distinguishing Characteristics:
  • Sclerotic ossicle in orbit present (1)
  • Raised node on the top of skull (2)
  • Ornate, fibrous pattern on Operculum (3)
