Undescribed scombrid #2

This is another unusual and unique fish skull which very distinctive ornamentation on the top of the skull as well as across the lacrymal and operculum bones. The top of the skull looks similar to that of Scombrids but from the side-view, it also has a Spariformes-look. More research is required on this lovely specimen.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

Sclerotic ossicle in orbit present (1)
Distinct ornamentation on lacrymal bone (2)
Distinct ornamentation on top of skull above eye orbits (3)
Radiating striations on operculum (4)
